Description

Bright, colorful Monster Cookies packed with oatmeal, peanut butter, sprinkles, and crunchy M&Ms—perfect for celebrating the 4th of July!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup red, white, and blue M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and half of the M&Ms.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Press the remaining M&Ms into the tops of the cookie dough balls.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden, then let cool before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve on a decorative rack or platter for festive occasions. These cookies can also be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
