Description

A sweet and savory dish featuring crispy roasted cauliflower coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or light main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 34 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (or 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prep the cauliflower by washing it and cutting it into 1-inch florets.
  3. Make the sticky sauce by whisking together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and ginger in a mixing bowl.
  4. Toss the cauliflower florets in the honey garlic mixture and spread them out on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce. For added flavor, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives before serving.
