Ingredients
1 box Annie’s Shells & Real Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese
2 chicken sausage links (sliced – use honey BBQ flavor)
1 tsp olive oil or nonstick spray
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: splash of milk and butter for extra creamy mac
Instructions
Cook Annie’s mac and cheese according to the box instructions. For creamier results, stir in a splash of milk and a small pat of butter.
While the pasta cooks, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add oil or spray, then toss in the sliced honey BBQ chicken sausage.
Sauté until caramelized and slightly crispy on the edges, about 6–8 minutes.
Plate up the creamy mac and layer or serve alongside the sweet, smoky sausage.
Finish with a crack of black pepper for a little edge.
