- 1 package Croissant Dough
- 8 slices Deli Ham
- 1 ½ cups Gruyère Cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- 2 teaspoons Fresh Thyme (optional)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently unroll your croissant dough on a clean, lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into triangles, aiming for a width of about 3-4 inches at the base.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard along the base of each triangle.
- Layer a slice of ham and a sprinkle of Gruyère cheese on top of the mustard.
- Starting from the base, roll the dough over the filling, tucking the sides to create a crescent shape.
- Place each rolled croissant seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over each croissant for a golden-brown finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
