- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by thinly slicing your beef against the grain and setting aside in a bowl.
- Marinate the beef in soy sauce and a dash of cornstarch for about 15-30 minutes.
- Make the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with a splash of oil.
- Cook the marinated beef in a single layer for about 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring well to coat everything.
- Finish with sliced green onions just before serving.
