A comforting and quick Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry that’s perfect for busy weeknights, featuring tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by thinly slicing your beef against the grain and setting aside in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the beef in soy sauce and a dash of cornstarch for about 15-30 minutes.
  3. Make the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  4. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with a splash of oil.
  5. Cook the marinated beef in a single layer for about 2-3 minutes without stirring.
  6. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 2 minutes.

  8. Finish with sliced green onions just before serving.

Notes

Serve over steamed rice or crispy noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds for added flair.
