A creamy and cheesy macaroni salad perfect for summer cookouts and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups Macaroni Pasta
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- ½ cup Celery, diced
- ¼ cup Green Onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Herbs (like dill or parsley), for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to boil and add a pinch of salt. Once boiling, add macaroni and cook until al dente, about 7-8 minutes.
- Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold water.
- Dice the celery and chop the green onions.
- Shred the cheddar cheese if using a block.
- Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Combine the cooled macaroni with the dressing, celery, green onions, and cheddar cheese.
- Mix everything thoroughly without mashing the pasta.
- Chill the salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve with a garnish of fresh herbs on top.
Notes
This salad is best made a day in advance for enhanced flavors. Customize with additional vegetables or protein as desired.
