Ingredients
- Boneless Chicken Breasts (about 1 pound)
- Bacon (6 slices)
- Tomato (1 large, sliced)
- Lettuce (Romaine or Iceberg)
- Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
- Cheddar Cheese (4 slices)
- Bread (4 slices, preferably sourdough or whole grain)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Flatten the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- Cooking the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden.
- Cook the Bacon: In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Toast the Bread: Lightly toast your bread slices.
- Spread the Mayo: Slather mayonnaise on one slice of bread.
- Layer the Ingredients: Add chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and top with another slice of bread.
- Slice and Serve: Cut the sandwich in half diagonally for a beautiful presentation.
