Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

4 cups chicken broth

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)

1 can black beans, rinsed and drained

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lime

Toppings:

Crushed tortilla chips

Shredded cheese

Avocado slices

Fresh cilantro

Sour cream

Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.

Stir in cumin, chili powder, and paprika. Cook for 1 minute.

Add tomatoes, broth, chicken, corn, and black beans. Bring to a simmer.

Simmer for 15–20 minutes. Stir in lime juice and season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot with your favorite toppings!
