Description

A creamy, crunchy, and spicy dip made with cream cheese, bacon, and chili flakes, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup green onions (scallions), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Once crispy, transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease and cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and lemon juice; blend until smooth.
  4. Chop the cooled bacon into small pieces.
  5. Add chopped bacon, green onions, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to the bowl; fold gently until combined.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Transfer to an airtight container and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. This spread pairs wonderfully with crackers, crostini, and fresh veggies.
