- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 8 oz Dark Chocolate
- 1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together until smooth.
- Mix in the granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing until shiny.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Prepare the mousse by whipping the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate.
- Assemble by spreading the mousse over the cooled brownies and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Serve sliced, optionally drizzled with chocolate sauce or garnished with chocolate shavings.
