Description

A comforting and colorful recipe for Classic Stuffed Peppers filled with ground meat, rice, and cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 large Bell Peppers
  • 1 lb Ground Meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can (about 15 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Peppers by slicing the tops and removing seeds.
  3. Sauté the onion in a skillet until translucent, then add garlic and ground meat until browned.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, cheese, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Stuff each pepper with the filling and place in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes covered with foil, then 15–20 minutes uncovered until tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
