- 4 large Bell Peppers
- 1 lb Ground Meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 can (about 15 oz) Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup shredded Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Fresh Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Peppers by slicing the tops and removing seeds.
- Sauté the onion in a skillet until translucent, then add garlic and ground meat until browned.
- Mix in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Stuff each pepper with the filling and place in a baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes covered with foil, then 15–20 minutes uncovered until tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
