Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Juice of 2 fresh limes
  • 12 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Prep the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a blender.
  3. Juice the limes over the avocado, removing any seeds.
  4. Add the garlic cloves into the blender.
  5. Pour in the olive oil.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary for consistency.
  8. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  9. Serve or store in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

For a creamier version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the avocado. Add jalapeño for a spicy kick!
