Ingredients

- 1 ripe avocado
- Juice of 2 fresh limes
- 1–2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Prep the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a blender.
- Juice the limes over the avocado, removing any seeds.
- Add the garlic cloves into the blender.
- Pour in the olive oil.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary for consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Serve or store in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
For a creamier version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the avocado. Add jalapeño for a spicy kick!
