Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken

  • Author: Emily Walker
  • Total Time: 6–7 hrs
  • Yield: 6 - 8 1x

Description

This recipe is what comfort food dreams are made of—creamy, cheesy, and loaded with savory bacon and ranch flavor. I remember making this for a potluck, and not a single bite was left. It’s the kind of dish that makes people go back for seconds… and thirds.

Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet ranch dressing mix

1 block (8 oz) cream cheese

½¾ cup cooked, crumbled bacon (more if you love bacon!)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 green onions, sliced

Buns or sandwich rolls for serving

Instructions

Layer the Base: Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with ranch mix and top with cream cheese.

Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until chicken is very tender.

Shred & Mix: Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir until creamy and combined.

Finish: Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted.

Serve warm on buns, rolls, or lettuce wraps.
