A comforting and utterly delicious dish featuring crispy Parmesan chicken coated in a rich garlic sauce.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup flour
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the chicken by patting it dry and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Create your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then egg, and finally the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Make the garlic sauce in the same skillet by sautéing minced garlic and adding chicken broth; let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken on a plate drizzled with the garlic sauce and garnished with parsley.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute butter with olive oil or vegan butter. To make it dairy-free, use plant-based Parmesan.
