Crispy Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Wraps

Description

Deliciously crispy wraps filled with tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and gooey cheese—perfect for a casual dinner or a fun lunch!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ribeye or flank steak
  • 12 Bell Peppers (mix of colors)
  • 1 medium Onion (sweet or red)
  • 8 oz Provolone cheese (or mozzarella/cheddar)
  • 4 large Tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Optional Seasoning (garlic powder, paprika, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Slice the steak against the grain into thin pieces.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and any additional spices, and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet, sauté for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Season veggies with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  6. Add more oil to the skillet if needed, and increase the heat to medium-high.
  7. Seer the steak slices for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  8. Combine the steak with sautéed veggies and cheese, and mix well.
  9. Prepare tortillas with the steak and veggie mixture, adding cheese on top.
  10. Roll the tortillas tightly from the bottom to the top.
  11. Heat the skillet and grill wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  12. Let the wraps rest for a minute before cutting them in half.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different proteins or veggies. For a cheesy baked version, sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 350°F until golden.
