Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Brown the ground beef with diced onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
In a small bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Lightly grease the crockpot.
Layer half the sliced potatoes in the bottom. Add half the beef mixture, half the soup mixture, and half the cheese.
Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Garnish and serve warm.
