Easter M&M Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup pastel M&Ms (plus extra for decorating)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Melt butter and let it cool for 5 minutes.

  • In a bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  • In another bowl, mix melted butter with both sugars. Add egg and vanilla.

  • Combine dry and wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and M&Ms.

  • Scoop onto prepared baking sheets using a medium cookie scoop.

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes. While baking, cut a few M&Ms in half for bunny ears.

  • After baking, press bunny ear M&Ms into hot cookies. Add more full M&Ms if needed.

  • Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
