- 4 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and chop fresh broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Steam broccoli for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the sauce.
- Add the chopped broccoli to the cheese sauce and mix well until every piece is coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Top with remaining cup of cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add-ins like bacon or quinoa for more flavor and texture.
