1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: fresh parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until just pink. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Pour in the cream, stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.
Return shrimp to the pan. Stir to coat and heat through.
Garnish with fresh parsley, lemon juice, or a pinch of chili flakes if desired. Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
