Instructions
- Gather your ingredients and ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
- Slice the cucumber thinly, about 1/8-inch thick.
- Mix cream cheese with fresh dill and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
- Lay out the bread slices and cut off the crusts if desired.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture generously on each slice of bread.
- Layer cucumber slices over half of the bread slices.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, cream cheese side down.
- Cut sandwiches into finger-sized pieces and serve immediately.
Notes
For a fresh touch, cover sandwiches with a damp paper towel until serving to keep them from drying out.
