Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz yakisoba or ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, or your favorites)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rapid boil. Add noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically 4-5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright and crisp.
  4. Combine noodles back into the skillet. Pour soy sauce and oyster sauce over and toss until noodles are well-coated.
  5. Finish by stirring in chopped green onions and cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to add cooked protein like chicken, shrimp, or tofu to make it a complete meal.
