Easy Homemade Cake Pops – Sweet, Fun & Perfect for Any Party!

Instructions

Make the Buttercream Frosting:

– Whip butter until smooth.
– Add 1 cup powdered sugar, mix well.
– Add vanilla, then gradually add more sugar.
– Mix in cream to make frosting thick and spreadable.

 Prepare the Cake Pops:

– Crumble cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
– Mix in 2 spoonfuls of frosting. Add more as needed until the mixture holds together.
– Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a plate.
– Freeze for 10 minutes to firm.

Dip and Decorate:

– Melt chocolates in separate bowls (30 sec bursts in microwave, stirring in between).
– Dip each cake pop stick into chocolate, then insert into each ball. Let set.
– Dip cake pops into melted chocolate. Gently tap to remove excess.
– Add sprinkles before chocolate hardens.
– Place upright in a styrofoam block or glass filled with rice.
