2⅓ cups all-purpose or bread flour (divided)
1 packet instant yeast (2¼ tsp)
2 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil (+ extra for brushing)
¾ cup warm water
In a large bowl, whisk 1 cup flour with yeast, sugar, salt, and garlic powder.
Add olive oil and warm water, mix well. Stir in 1 more cup of flour until dough forms a soft ball. Use remaining ⅓ cup flour only if needed.
Oil a clean bowl generously, place dough in and turn to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 30–60 mins.
Once doubled, punch down and knead for 1 minute on a floured surface.
Roll out into a circle, place on a pizza pan, poke with a fork, and brush with olive oil.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake for 12–15 mins or until golden and bubbly. Slice and enjoy!
