Description

A creamy and easy homemade ranch dressing recipe that enhances salads, veggies, and sandwiches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Grab a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Start by adding the mayonnaise and sour cream to the mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Pour in the buttermilk and stir gently.
  4. Add the fresh parsley and dill, and whisk until evenly distributed.
  5. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and onion powder, adjusting the seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning or consistency as needed.
  7. Let the dressing chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with salads, veggies, or as a dip.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute with Greek yogurt. Homemade ranch dressing tastes better after chilling, so make a day ahead if possible!
