- 4 large croissants (preferably day-old)
- 4 large eggs
- 4 strips bacon (cooked and chopped)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice each croissant in half lengthwise and gently pull out some soft bread to create a “boat.”
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
- Whisk the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Combine the bacon and cheddar cheese into the egg mixture and stir in the green onions.
- Fill each croissant boat with the egg mixture, letting it overflow slightly.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tops are golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
