Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large croissants (preferably day-old)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 strips bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each croissant in half lengthwise and gently pull out some soft bread to create a “boat.”
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  4. Whisk the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Combine the bacon and cheddar cheese into the egg mixture and stir in the green onions.
  6. Fill each croissant boat with the egg mixture, letting it overflow slightly.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tops are golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
