Delightfully crispy and golden French fries made on a Blackstone griddle, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Russet Potatoes
  • Vegetable Oil (or Peanut Oil)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Your Favorite Seasoning
  • Optional Toppings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes for extra crispiness.
  3. Slice the Potatoes into your preferred fry shape.
  4. Preheat your Blackstone to medium-high heat (around 350°F to 375°F).
  5. Oil it up: Add a generous amount of oil to the griddle, about 1/4 inch deep.
  6. Carefully place the sliced potatoes on the griddle in batches.
  7. Let them fry undisturbed for the first 4-5 minutes for optimal crispiness.
  8. Sprinkle salt and additional seasonings as they turn golden brown.
  9. Remove the fries once crispy and drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra crispy fries, ensure they are well-dried before frying and do not overcrowd the griddle.
