8 slices brioche or challah bread

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp powdered sugar (plus more for dusting)

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

1/4 cup strawberry jam

2 large eggs

3 tbsp milk

2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.

Spread cream cheese mix on 4 slices of bread.

Top with strawberries and a spoonful of jam. Cover with remaining bread.

Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow dish. Dip each sandwich in this mixture.

Heat skillet on medium, melt butter, and fry sandwiches 2-3 mins each side until golden.

Let drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
