Description
A delightful dessert that combines smoky grilled peaches with a warm, crumbly topping, perfect for summer BBQs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large Fresh Peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Almond Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg (optional)
- a pinch Sea Salt
- 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Peaches: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Wash and halve your peaches, removing the pits. Brush cut sides with coconut oil and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Grill the Peaches: Grill peach halves cut-side down for 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear and peaches soften. Cool and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare the Crumble Topping: In a bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. In another bowl, melt coconut oil and mix with brown sugar until smooth. Combine both mixtures until crumbly.
- Assemble the Crumble: In a greased baking dish, layer grilled peaches and drizzle with honey/maple syrup if desired. Top generously with crumble mixture.
- Grill the Crumble: Place the baking dish on the cooler side of the grill, cover, and cook for 20-25 minutes until topping is golden and peaches are bubbly.
- Serve It Up: Let cool slightly, then scoop into bowls and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
