Description

Indulge in crispy, buttery churro bites rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with gooey Nutella for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Combine the water and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium until the butter melts and gently simmers.
  2. Stir in the flour quickly until combined, then return to heat and cook for about 2 minutes until it forms a ball.
  3. Cool the dough slightly, then add the eggs and vanilla extract one at a time, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pipe small bites onto a lined baking sheet using a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  5. Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry churro bites in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Toss the warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
  7. Serve the churro bites warm with melted Nutella for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use a gluten-free flour blend. Serve with fresh fruits for a refreshing contrast.
