- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Combine the water and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium until the butter melts and gently simmers.
- Stir in the flour quickly until combined, then return to heat and cook for about 2 minutes until it forms a ball.
- Cool the dough slightly, then add the eggs and vanilla extract one at a time, stirring until smooth.
- Pipe small bites onto a lined baking sheet using a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry churro bites in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the warm churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
- Serve the churro bites warm with melted Nutella for dipping. Enjoy!
