Ingredients

  • 12 Fresh Jalapeños
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs, preferably Panko
  • 4 slices Bacon (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Chives or Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prep the jalapeños by slicing them in half and removing the seeds and membranes.
  3. Make the filling by mixing cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and chives in a bowl.
  4. Stuff the jalapeños with the cheese mixture.
  5. Coat each stuffed jalapeño with breadcrumbs.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the coated poppers.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool for a few minutes, garnish with chives, and serve warm.
