Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 or 85/15)
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (cheddar and mozzarella mix)
- 8 Almond Flour Tortillas
- Olive Oil (for frying)
- Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large skillet over medium heat, add your ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Spice it Up: Drain any excess fat and add taco seasoning with a splash of water. Stir well and simmer for a few minutes.
- Creamy Blend: Stir in softened cream cheese until fully combined and melted into the beef.
- Roll It Up: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Use almond flour tortillas to roll up the beef mixture tightly.
- Fry Time: Brush each taquito with olive oil. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve with Style: Let them cool for a few minutes, then serve garnished with fresh cilantro and dipping sauces.
Notes
Feel free to swap out the beef for shredded chicken or make them vegetarian with sautéed veggies.
