- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prep the broccoli by steaming or blanching for about 3-4 minutes until bright green but still crisp.
- Make the creamy Alfredo sauce by adding olive oil to a medium saucepan and whisking in heavy cream gradually.
- Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in grated Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Combine cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, and Alfredo sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with additional Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Optionally broil for a couple of minutes for extra color.
- Let it cool slightly for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Consider serving with a side salad for a complete meal and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for added heat.
