Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Toss in the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic.
- Increase the heat and add the ground beef, breaking it up and cooking until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
- Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
- Add the broccoli florets, stirring to coat them in the juices, and steam with a splash of chicken broth if desired.
- Melt the shredded cheddar cheese over the skillet, covering with a lid until melted.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
