Description

A vibrant and zesty Lebanese salad dressing made with garlic, lemon, tahini, and olive oil, perfect for enhancing salads and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 cloves Fresh Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Tahini Paste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Water for consistency
  • Fresh Herbs (Optional, Chopped parsley or mint)

Instructions

  1. Start with the garlic: Mince the garlic finely using a mortar and pestle or cutting board.
  2. Juicing the lemons: Juice the lemons and catch any seeds; you’ll need about 1/4 cup of juice.
  3. Combine base ingredients: In a bowl or jar, add minced garlic, lemon juice, and tahini paste; whisk until smooth.
  4. Whisk in the olive oil: Slowly pour in olive oil while whisking to create a creamy emulsion.
  5. Season to perfection: Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to preference.
  6. Fresh herbs optional: Add chopped herbs for a refreshing touch.
  7. Serve it up: Give it a stir and enjoy over salads, grilled veggies, or as a marinade.

Notes

This dressing can last up to a week in an airtight container in the fridge. Adjust lemon juice to taste if preferred milder.
