Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Cook lentils and quinoa separately following package instructions.
  2. Mix It Up!: In a large bowl, combine cooked lentils and quinoa with onions, garlic, carrot, and parsley. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Binding Magic: Add breadcrumbs, cumin, salt, and pepper. Adjust breadcrumbs as needed for consistency.
  4. Form the Patties: Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  5. Fry Time!: Heat olive oil in a skillet and fry patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
