Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cream cheese block (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the flour and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press the dough into mini tart pans or a muffin tin.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Beat the cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl.
  7. Add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  8. Spoon the cream cheese filling into cooled tart shells.
  9. Combine sliced strawberries with lemon juice in a bowl.
  10. Top each tartlet with strawberries and optional whipped cream.
  11. Refrigerate the tartlets for at least 30 minutes before serving.
