- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- Nutella (about 1 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in another bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare small scoops of Nutella and freeze them until firm.
- Shape the dough around a frozen scoop of Nutella and roll into a ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
