Description

Indulge in gooey chocolate chip cookies stuffed with rich Nutella for the perfect dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • Nutella (about 1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in another bowl.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Prepare small scoops of Nutella and freeze them until firm.
  8. Shape the dough around a frozen scoop of Nutella and roll into a ball.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
