Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.
- Cook the crumbled Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stretch the pizza dough on a floured surface, shaping it into a round or rectangular shape, about 12-14 inches.
- Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet or pizza peel. Coat the base with olive oil, then dollop the ricotta evenly over.
- Distribute the cooked sausage over the cheese, sprinkle with red pepper flakes, and add more mozzarella.
