Description

This Sloppy Joe Casserole is comfort food at its finest—meaty, cheesy, saucy, and oh-so-easy. All the nostalgic flavors of a classic sloppy joe, baked into a hearty pasta dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or feeding a hungry crowd.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 cup diced yellow onion

1 (39 oz) can original Manwich sauce

12 oz farfalle pasta (or any pasta you love)

8 oz Colby-Jack cheese, shredded

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions; drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain excess grease.

Stir in Manwich sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine meat mixture with cooked pasta in a large mixing bowl or casserole dish.

Fold in half the cheese, then transfer to a greased 9×13 baking dish.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
