Description

Delicious smoked BBQ beef tacos wrapped in warm tortillas, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • Chuck Roast (3-4 pounds)
  • BBQ Rub (Homemade or Store-Bought)
  • BBQ Sauce (Sweet or Spicy)
  • Tortillas (Corn or Flour)
  • Toppings (Cilantro, diced onions, jalapeños, lime wedges, avocado)
  • Smoker or Grill
  • Wood Chips (Hickory, Mesquite, or Apple)

Instructions

  1. Start by trimming excess fat from your chuck roast.
  2. Generously coat the beef with BBQ rub and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your smoker to 225°F to 250°F.
  4. Once at temperature, place the beef on the grates and smoke for 4-6 hours.
  5. Remove the beef at an internal temperature of 195°F to 205°F.
  6. Let the beef rest for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Shred the beef and mix with BBQ sauce.
  8. Warm tortillas in a skillet for 30 seconds per side.
  9. Assemble tacos with beef and desired toppings.
