Drizzled with vanilla glaze, it’s the ultimate cozy treat to fill your kitchen with the smells of the season. Pour a cup of coffee and savor every slice!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bread:

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

⅔ cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

⅓ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Apple Filling:

1½ cups chopped apples (peeled)

2 tbsp brown sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

For the Glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar

12 tbsp milk

¼ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prep Apples

Toss chopped apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

Make the Batter

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.

Stir in vanilla and milk. In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients together and gradually mix into the wet.

Layer & Swirl

Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan. Spoon half the apple mixture over it. Add the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the apples. Gently swirl with a knife.

Bake

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

Glaze It

Mix glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cooled loaf and enjoy!
