Spider Truffle Pops: Creepy-Cute Halloween Magic!

  • Author: Emily Walker
  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 20 spider pops 1x

Description

Creepy meets cute in these Spider Truffle Pops — rich chocolate truffles transformed into edible spiders with pretzel stick legs and googly candy eyes. No tricks here, just a decadent, no-bake treat perfect for Halloween parties or fun kitchen time with kids.

Ingredients

Scale

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (for coating)

Mini pretzel sticks (for legs)

Candy eyes

Lollipop sticks or skewers (optional)

Instructions

Make the truffle base: Mix crushed cookies and cream cheese until smooth. Roll into 1-inch balls and chill for 30 minutes.

Insert legs: Break pretzel sticks in half and insert 3–4 on each side of the truffle to make spider legs.

Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second bursts until smooth.

Coat spiders: Dip each truffle ball into melted chocolate, using a fork or stick to lift and let excess drip off.

Decorate: While still wet, add candy eyes and adjust pretzel legs as needed. Insert sticks if making as pops.

Chill & set: Refrigerate until chocolate hardens — about 15 minutes. Ready to crawl into your snack lineup!
