4 cups mashed sweet potatoes (about 4–5 medium sweet potatoes)
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
¼ cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
For the Topping:
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped pecans (optional for nut-free)
¼ cup melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
Pour the filling into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, pecans, and melted butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
