This dish reminds me of cozy weeknights when we needed something quick yet special. A sweet and garlicky glaze hugs each bite of tender chicken—so simple, yet it feels like a little kitchen magic. Great with rice, veggies, or even a salad. Try it once, and it’ll become a go-to favorite at your table.
Base:
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, divided
Sauce:
6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
1/3 cup honey
Seasoning & Garnish:
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Green onions, thinly sliced
Lightly coat chicken breasts with flour, shaking off excess.
In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, and honey. Simmer until slightly thickened (about 3–5 minutes).
Return chicken to pan, coat with sauce, and simmer another 2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with green onions.
