Description

A vibrant and zesty Thailand Salad Dressing that perfectly balances sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors. Ideal for salads, grilled meats, or as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce (or soy sauce for vegan)
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce (or Sriracha)
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil (or olive oil)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (chopped finely)
  • Crushed Peanuts (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Juicing the limes: Start by slicing your limes in half and squeezing out 1/4 cup into a bowl.
  2. Pour in two tablespoons of fish sauce.
  3. Whisk in the brown sugar until fully dissolved.
  4. Add one tablespoon of chili garlic sauce and combine.
  5. Measure and whisk in the sesame oil.
  6. Toss in your freshly chopped cilantro.
  7. Give it a good whisk until everything is combined.
  8. Transfer the dressing into a clean jar or container for storage.

Notes

This dressing is great on salads, as a dipping sauce, or as a marinade for grilled meats. Letting it sit allows the flavors to deepen.
