- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnishing (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken by seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
- Sear the chicken in a skillet with olive oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side (optional).
- Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes to the crockpot and stir.
- Nestle the chicken into the sauce in the crockpot and set to low.
- Set the timer for 6-7 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce once cooking is complete.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
