Description

Delightful layers of light, crispy wafer cookies topped with creamy frosting and festive sprinkles, perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Sugar Wafers
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Red Food Coloring
  • Blue Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles (red, white, and blue)
  • Milk (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Start with the frosting: In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Divide the frosting into three bowls. Color one bowl with red food coloring, another with blue, and leave the third white.
  3. Layer the wafers: Spread a layer of white frosting on a sugar wafer, place another wafer on top, and alternate colors as you stack.
  4. Top it off: Use the remaining frosting to cover the top and sides of the stacked wafers.
  5. Sprinkle some festive sprinkles on top to finish.
  6. Chill the assembled wafers in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving, then slice into squares or rectangles.
