  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, for topping
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the milk, melted butter, and eggs in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Add the batter to the greased baking dish and smooth it out.
  7. Prepare the topping by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the batter.
