Description
A delicious and savory dish that combines the earthy flavors of roasted Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, making it the perfect comfort food.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4–6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Balsamic glaze, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash your Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim the ends. Halve them for even cooking.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze if using. Serve hot.
Notes
Avoid crowding the baking sheet to ensure the Brussels sprouts roast instead of steam.
