Description

A delicious and savory dish that combines the earthy flavors of roasted Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, making it the perfect comfort food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 46 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Balsamic glaze, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash your Brussels sprouts under cold water and trim the ends. Halve them for even cooking.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  4. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze if using. Serve hot.

Notes

Avoid crowding the baking sheet to ensure the Brussels sprouts roast instead of steam.
