- 8 oz Brie Cheese
- ¼ cup Honey
- ½ cup Walnuts
- Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (optional)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Prepare the baguette: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice your baguette into ½-inch thick slices.
- Brush with olive oil: Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush one side with olive oil.
- Toast the crostini: Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Prep the walnuts: Chop walnuts coarsely and toast in a pan over medium heat for 5 minutes if desired.
- Assemble the crostini: Layer brie on warm crostini slices.
- Drizzle and top: Drizzle honey over the brie and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
- Finish with freshness: Add chopped herbs if using.
- Final toast: Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes until melty.
- Serve: Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and enjoy!
